Leather Sheep and Cattle Show Halters

A super range of leather show halters and leads for Cattle & Sheep. All are individually handmade & handstitched using the best British leathers.

The halters are strong and attractive, available in various styles to suit your breed & sure to enhance your chances in the showring. From traditional decorated bull halters in heavy weight leathers (5mm thick) to finer part-rolled leather sheep halters (3.5mm thick), all individually hand made and entirely handstitched with care and attention to detail. They are superb quality; much smarter and stronger than the mass produced versions!
All of the livestock halters and leads are available in Black or Dark Havana coloured leathers though Sheep halters are also available in Chestnut (med. brown), and all have British solid brass fittings.
Leads are available in a selection of lengths and widths, with or without a chain end. All brassware is made at a 19th century brass foundry in Walsall, West Midlands to very high standards.

Properly cared for with some good leather food and stored in ambient conditions, they will give excellent service for many years.

Extra nosebands and head straps for leather cattle halters are available on request – sometimes you need interchangeable sizes, or you’ve lost or broken them! I can also carry out repairs on your old leathergoods.

Sheep and cattle halters are usually made to order, though I sometimes have a few available from my stock. Please allow up to 28 working days for despatch, though usually ready much sooner.
