Leather Slip Sheep Halters

Description

Leather slip sheep halters really give your sheep the edge in the show ring. Handmade in best British leathers (3.5mm thickness), with British made solid brass fittings. They have an adjustable buckled headstrap and a slip strap that passes under the jaw to tighten around the nose, with a solid brass ring on the end for attaching a lead. The noseband is available in either a neat rolled leather or flat leather. They seem to suit most breeds but can be tailored to your own measurements if required.
This design is not suitable to be left on the sheep while unattended as it can loosen and fall off.
Slip halters are available in 3 colours of leather, Black, Havana (dark brown) and Chestnut (mid brown). All sizes are available in 12mm (1/2″) width and the Large ewe/Ram size is also available in 16mm (5/8″) width.

Lamb Slip Halter:- Noseband length between rings 7″ (18cm), slip jaw strap 7″ (18cm), headstrap ring to ring length adjustable from12″ (30cm) to 18″ (45cm)

Ewe Slip Halter:- Noseband length between rings 8″ (20.5cm), slip jaw strap 9″ (23cm), headstrap ring to ring length adjustable from 14″ (36cm) to 20″ (51cm)

Ram/ Large Ewe Slip Halter:- Noseband length between rings 9″ (23cm), slip jaw strap 10″ (25.5cm), headstrap ring to ring length adjustable from18″ (45cm) to 24″ (61cm)

Leather leads for sheep are also available to match these halters.

Please take care of your leather from new with a good Leathercare product – it will supple up the leather and keep it in great condition for years of use.
