Chestnut, Hazel, Black, Navy, Red, Green, dark Havana (L to R)

Most of my products are available in a choice of  colours in this superb British bridle leather, produced by the world reknowned J & E Sedgwick & Co tannery. Just click on any of the individual colours below to see a larger image and more details. Please check individual product details for the colours available.

Most of these leathergoods are made from 3.5 - 4mm  single thickness of leather, not thinner leathers stitched or glued together! This gives a very hard-wearing strong product. The cattle halters and heavier weight items are made from 4.5 - 5mm thickness which is then often stitched together in multiple layers depending on the finished item & the strength required.

These images will give you an idea of the colours but please remember these will vary depending on the device you are viewing them on and are not always a true likeness! Click on the images to see a larger version.

Raised leather collars in dark Havana leather

Dark Havana - This is the traditional bridle brown, like dark chocolate! Looks great with brass fittings but the choice is yours if you prefer nickel (silver).

Bespoke belt in Chestnut leather

Chestnut - A lovely warm medium brown, just like a conker! Looks best with the brass fittings but the choice is yours.

Plaited belt shown in Hazel leather

Hazel - By popular demand I've added this gorgeous lighter brown. It's not a light tan but a bit deeper & richer. It will mellow and darken naturally with use.

Sun & Moon collar in Navy leather

Navy - A classic navy which looks good with both solid brass and the silver coloured nickel fittings.

Flat slip lead in Red leather

Red - A fabulous bright red, finished with a striking black edge, but it will darken with use & oiling over time. This is because bridle leather is porous & it will absorb some dirt & grease which is harmless if the collar is cleaned & treated with a good leather conditioner regularly. Occasionally you may notice a slight transfer of colour on a light coloured dog coat on initial use but this can be prevented by oiling well before use. It looks good with either the brass or nickel fittings.

Collars, leads & belts in dark Green leather

Dark Green - A gorgeous dark green like an evergreen ivy. Looks smart & classy with either the brass or nickel fittings.

Black - Black is black! Both brass and nickel fittings look good with this.
