Adult Belt Sizing Guide
Here is a bit of guidance on my belt sizing and measurements. Traditionally the saddlery trade works in inches but you can use the Metric size guide to convert this easily.
Adult Classic, Wye Valley & Marshalsay belts have 7 holes spaced 1″ (25mm) apart.
Plaited, Laced & all Ranger belts have 5 holes spaced 1″ (25mm) apart.
The size indicates the measurement from the buckle, (but not including it) to the tightest (first) & loosest (last) holes. My sizing is based on the belt being usually fastened around the middle holes, but this is entirely your choice if you prefer a longer or shorter overlap, adjust the size ordered as required!

Children's Belt Size Guide
Children's belts have 5 holes spaced 1″ (25mm) apart and the belt sizes are the measurement from the buckle (but not including it) to the tightest (first) and loosest (last) holes. The sizing of the belts allows for maximum growing room so for example if your child's waist is 18″, the belt will fasten on the tightest or next hole out, allowing 3 or 4 more holes of expansion.

Description
Classic leather belts, made in best British Bridle leathers (4mm thickness) and are all individually hand made and hand-stitched with a matching leather keeper. I don’t supply any belts with an additional loose keeper – if you order the correct size, you won’t need one but I can provide these on request for a small extra charge.
They are likely to last a lifetime, certainly 20 years or more as proved by many customers. They are versatile enough to dress up or to use for casual everyday wear. Buckles are made in the last remaining British brass foundry, the quality is superb as they are cast in solid brass with a strong tongue that won’t bend or break. There are 2 styles with either a polished or brushed matt finish and a choice of solid brass and nickel-plated solid brass (silver colour).
Sizing
This is based on the belt fastening in the middle of the 7 holes. This will give a good range of adjustment and enough ‘tail’ to tuck into your trouser belt loop without the need for an extra loop. You usually just need to order the same size as the trouser size you usually buy, or your waist or hip size depending on how you wear your trousers.

Care of your belt
The leather will gradually soften and mould to your shape, but over time it may become a little dry and pick up small marks and scratches. Your belt can easily be rejuvenated by treating it periodically with a good leather treatment like Sedgwicks Leathercare. This will feed, condition and restore the appearance of your leather.

WOW!. Received my dark green bespoke tapered bridle jean belt. WOW! Great colour. Expert workmanship. Quality product. I have tried it on this morning, Feels really comfortable. Emma was friendly and helpful right from the start. I initially called to find out if the belt could be made and delivered within a 4/5 day period. She said that it was and I placed my order online. After about an hour or so, I wanted to change my order slightly and Emma was accommodating of that, taking the details over the phone and refunding me the difference so that I didn’t have to place another order online. The belt was then shipped and delivered promptly.
The belt is made from a thick bridle leather and the quality is great. The leather has been cut neatly and the notches are clean and uniform. The stitching is also neat and tidy.
